Announcing our participation in the Law Society's Access to Innovation program
We’re very excited to announce that we’ve been approved as a participant of the Law Society of Ontario’s (LSO) Access to Innovation (A2I) program! Doormat is the second company to be approved as a program participant. To be approved, we had to demonstrate that we met the program’s standards for quality and consumer protection. This A2I stamp of approval from the LSO will bring assurance to Ontarians that Doormat has been vetted by the regulator to ensure we operate in a manner that protects our clients.

We've joined the Legal Innovation Zone!
Doormat has joined TMU's Legal Innovation Zone (LIZ). The LIZ is a global hub focused on building better legal solutions for the consumers of legal services. The hub supports legal tech companies at various stages, providing guidance, support, and community to help bring better legal services to market, faster.

Announcing our $1.25M CAD pre-seed fundraise
Today, we’re excited to announce the completion of a $1.25M CAD pre-seed funding round for Doormat! This funding will help us bring much-needed simplicity and ease to the real estate buying and selling process in Canada. We had so many amazing investors come on board, including Alate Partners, The LegalTech Fund, Erin Bury of Willful, and Brandon Chu formerly of Shopify, just to name a few.

Introducing Doormat Partners - our official partner program
Today we’re excited to launch our official partner program called Doormat Partners. Real estate professionals will now be able to track their clients property closings through notifications and a personalized dashboard, save their clients money by offering them a discount on Doormat services, and access the Doormat team for legal questions.
